This is Market You First. Market You First. It's time to learn to sell what you bring to the table, not what you're selling. This is Market You First. This is your host, Wes Wyatt. Have you ever noticed how the most successful network marketers rarely talk about their products? Instead, they share their stories, they build genuine connections, and people naturally want to know more. My name is Wes Wyatt, and today on the Market You First podcast, we're going to be diving into why your story matters more than any product catalog. So, why does this matter? Listen, I get it. When you first join a network marketing company, the excitement about the products are overwhelming. You want to shout about them from the rooftops. But here's the reality. There are probably thousands of other people out there selling the exact same things. Now, what makes you different? It's not the products. It's you. Your journey. Your personality. Your authentic approach to helping others. That's what's going to truly set you apart in this industry. So, here are three key takeaways that are going to help you with this. Number one, build your story first. Stop memorizing product facts and start sharing your journey. What problems were you trying to solve? What made you skeptical at first? You know, be real about your experiences, good and bad. Number two, connect before you sell. Spend 80% of your time building relationships and 20% of the time talking about products. Share valuable content. Engage in conversations. And show genuine interest in others' goals. And third but not least, create content about you. Document your daily journeys. Share your wins and struggles. And let people know the real person behind the business. This builds trust naturally. Alright, so how do you market you first and make this personal? Your network marketing business isn't about the company you represent or the products that you have. It's about the unique value you bring to the table. Maybe you're great at simplifying complex topics. Or perhaps you have a knack for motivating others. Lead with those strengths. And when you focus on developing your personal brand first, the products become a natural extension of your story, not the other way around. So here is your call to action. Take 15 minutes a day and write down your personal story. What brought you to this business? What challenges have you overcome? This story is going to be the foundation of your authentic personal brand. And if you have found any of this at all helpful, do me a favor. Like, share, comment, and subscribe. And go down to the bottom of weswyatt.com if you have any questions. That's going to allow you to see that little thought bubble on the bottom right. That's my chat feature. I don't monitor that live, but I'll get back to you extremely fast. And then when you're done with this podcast, go to weswyatt.com.
